Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is Namco Bandai's 2012 follow-up to the original Tag, and the most roster-heavy 3D fighting game of its generation. Over fifty characters share the same cabinet, every Tekken regular plus deep cuts like Ogre, Jinpachi, Michelle Chang, and Angel. Two-on-two tag matches let you swap mid-combo, with bound state extensions and tag assaults turning even short openings into wall-carry punishes that cross half the stage.

The console release on PS3 and Xbox 360 piles on Fight Lab tutorials, customization shops, online team battles, and additional stages, including reworked classic backdrops. Bound mechanics, tag throws, and netsu rage all push you toward keeping the second character alive at all costs. It is the deepest Tekken sandbox before T7's simplification, and it remains a high-water mark for tag-based fighting games.
