Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter is Capcom's 1997 follow-up to X-Men vs. Street Fighter, dropping Marvel's heaviest hitters into the same tag-team arcade fighter alongside the World Warriors. Two-on-two matches let you swap partners on the fly, chain Variable Combos for assist-fueled pressure, and burn meter on screen-shaking Hyper Combos that define the entire Vs. Series feel.
Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Akuma, Sakura, and Dhalsim square off against Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Cyclops, Captain America, and Omega Red, with Apocalypse looming as the boss. Mech-Zangief and Cyber-Akuma show up as hidden picks, and the PlayStation and Saturn ports tried to keep the tag system intact on home hardware. It's the missing link between X-Men vs. Street Fighter and the Marvel vs. Capcom run that followed.
