Street Fighter Alpha 3

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the 1998 Capcom arcade fighter that closes out the Alpha trilogy with the deepest roster and the most flexible system in the series. The PlayStation port expands on that already huge cast by adding Juli, Juni, Balrog, Dee Jay, Fei Long, and T. Hawk, each with their own portraits and story arcs. Three selectable fight styles, A-ism, V-ism, and X-ism, let you build a character around custom combos, classic super bars, or one-shot Super Combo damage.

World Tour mode is the headline feature, a single-player campaign that hops between cities and lets you level up moves, raise stats, and reshape your fighter's properties match by match. Guile, Evil Ryu, and Shin Akuma show up as unlockables along the way. Between Sodom, Adon, Birdie, Cody, Dan, Dhalsim, E. Honda, and the rest of the early-alphabet cast, this half of the roster covers a wide spread of styles, from grappler to charge to rushdown.
